This high content of molybdenum, chromium and nitrogen in the WERKSTOFF NR. 1.4410 Hot Rolled Bar results in the alloy yielding excellent resistance to chloride pitting and crevice corrosion attack. Due to the duplicity present in the microstructure of Super Duplex Steel S32750 Cold Finished Bar, the alloy has exceptional resistance properties against chloride ion stress related corrosion cracking. Usage of Duplex 2507 alloy at temperatures exceeding 600° F is frowned upon by super duplex 2507 round bar suppliers in Mumbai. This is because exposure at a temperature range above 600° F and extended use of the Super Duplex Stainless Steel S32760 Hollow Bar at elevated temperature settings could reduce both the toughness as well as corrosion resistance properties of alloy 2507. Although it has a short coming with regards to its elevated temperature use, one has to note that the Super Duplex S32750 Rod possesses excellent mechanical properties. Often a light gauge of the Super Duplex Steel S32760 Bright Bar material could be used to achieve the same design strength of a thicker cross sectioned nickel alloy.
